"The opportunities for being positive are endless! "
Venerable Gelong Karma Jiga

Kagyu Samye Dzong Aberdeen is the North East branch of the world famous Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery, established in Dumfriesshire in 1967 as the first centre for Tibetan Buddhism in the West.
We offer weekly classes in the city centre on meditation and mindfulness, and monthly practice of the Chenrezig Sadhana - a Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice. We also hold regular courses and workshops focusing on Buddhism, meditation and relaxation, and we offer yoga classes over the summer months.
Our main aim is to promote healthy living and provide suitable and beneficial ways to manage issues related to stress and tension, and to introduce the teachers of the Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism to those interested in North East Scotland.
